Broadstring and Broadview Wood offer a rare opportunity to own an expansive private woodland set within the High Weald AONB on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells.

The two woodlands, are to be sold as one with an option to buy Broadview separately. Towering Scots Pine surround you as you enter Broadstring to the west. The high canopy allows the light to pour into the wide-open glades, perfect for group summer camping and woodland activities. The ground is level throughout and easy to navigate. As you wander deeper into the woodland, young pine, birch and holly can also be found.

Broadview, the larger of the two woodlands is host to a wider variety of stock. The Scots pine was thinned some years ago and replanted with native species. Birch is dominant but chestnut, hazel, hemlock, oak and occasional rowan can also be found.

Clear woodland paths lead you in and around the entire site through the grasses and bracken, which makes ideal cover for the local roe deer, of which there are many. Sit quietly for just a few minutes on one of the benches and you're guaranteed to catch a glimpse of these regular visitors.

The RSPBs 450 acre Broadwater Warren Nature Reserve is situated a few minutes walk away and you are likely to hear and possibly see some of the following birds: Goldcrest, Siskin, Lesser Redpoll, Green Woodpecker and Marsh Tit. Summer migrants spotted in the reserve include: Blackcap, Whitethroat, Nightjar and Yellow Hammer, amongst others.

Ideally situated, the woodlands are just a short drive from Tunbridge Wells. High Rocks train station and the Spa Valley Railway is just a 10 minute walk. High Rocks pub and Borders restaurant can also be found here.

District is Wealden and the County Council is East Sussex.

Boundaries: The boundary is open to the north, east and west and marked with blue (Broadview) and red (Broadstring) paint. To the north and east the boundary follows a shared access track. The southern side is fenced and follows Lodge Lane.

Access: There is excellent vehicle access all year round via a private locked gate. Parking for numerous vehicles is possible within the woodland itself.
