So much to enjoy, Teise Wood slopes gently down to the river Teise which forms its northern boundary on the far bank. The Teise here runs swiftly and eventually joins up with the river Medway and so to the sea. Dense swathes of bluebells in spring are such a delight, mature oak and chestnut overhead mix with silver birch and hazel. Land to the south east of Tunbridge Wells has few roads and is quiet, peaceful countryside of hilly farmland and extensive woodland, yet is within a few minutes drive of the Town.
There is a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) and an Article 4 designation which protect these and the surrounding woodlands. These do not prevent normal woodland management covered by a Forestry Commission approved management plan. There is a whole wood management plan in place as agreed with the Forestry Commisison (FC) which covers about 40 acres around and including Teise Wood, this can be transferred to a new owner.
Boundaries are shown by blue markings and are; north, the centre of the river, the south is the track edge, 3 metres from the track centre, west and east are free-standing marker posts.
Covenant the purchasers of the woodland will be asked to enter into a covenant to ensure the quiet and peaceful enjoyment of this and the adjoining woodlands. Teise Wood is within 10 minutes drive from much of Tunbridge Wells.

This will take you to the red metal gate which is the access to Teise Wood. Park here, in front of the gate, or there is room on the verge just up the hill in front of Sunninglye Farm.
There is room to squeeze round the side of the gate, take the left hand track and continue until seeing the blue markers and ride stop entrance with a 'For Sale' sign and wood name.
