Oldfield Wood - Sold

Oldfield Wood is located to the south east of Nailsworth in Gloucestershire.

A peaceful beautiful mixed broadleaf woodland set in the Cotswolds AONB (area of outstanding natural beauty). Classified as an ancient semi natural woodland with beech, oak, ash and sycamore to name but a few of the many species of broadleaf trees that grow here. Carpeted with bluebells in spring this really is one of the most attractive woodlands we have for sale.

Approached via a very narrow country track probably best suited to a 4 x 4 you  get the feeling of being deep in the English countryside and away from all the hustle and bustle of city life even before you get to the wood.

On level ground, with many open tracks and a grassy clearing, which would be perfect for camping or picnics this makes an ideal wood for family forestry.

Much wildlife is much in evidence with badgers, deer and foxes being regular visitors.

The woodland has a small building formally used as kennels (see photo) these would easily convert into an ideal forestry store.
