Numerous open glades and clearings are found throughout the woodland, particularly along the rides and at junctions, offering excellent spots to set up camp — whether for recreational enjoyment or woodland management activities. A spring at the western edge of the site also presents the opportunity to create a natural pond for wildlife.

Access: There is parking immediately adjacent to the site and excellent 4x4 access within the site via a shared track leading from the road. There are numerous private rides that run through the site for vehicle access. 

Covenant: There is a covenant on the wood designed to ensure the continued quiet and peaceful enjoyment of this and adjoining woodlands.
