An attractive mixed woodland of Lawsons cypress, Norway spruce with oak, ash, cherry, hazel and willow. At the northern end is an area of poplar, evenly spaced standing tall and straight, lots of hazel is growing below. Several specimens of mature oak are spread through the wood, between these younger oak can be found. In places the spruce is rather dense, some of this could easily be removed to free up the oak and ash which would allow them to spread and flourish in the higher light levels.
There is scope for taking firewood while leaving enough dead wood for the small woodland organisms to 'feed' on.
Access: The first part of the access track is also the drive to Greenacres House between the double gates and up to the single wooden field gate. The access track turns right at this point. Most of the track is allweather, however some parts are seasonal but there are places to park on the harder parts. The right of way is at all times and the maintenance according to the amount of use made.
Viewing: Viewers must take a set of details (please print out) but may go unaccompanied any time during daylight hours.

Directions
Located just north of the A25 to the east of the A22.
From the roundabout at the junction of A22 and A25 head east towards Oxted, after about ½ mile take the left turn into Tandridge Hill Lane.

from the Oxted direction cross the roundabout and after about 300 metres turn right into Tandridge Hill Lane.
Continue along the Lane, park on the right hand side to the side of the entrance to the old building, just before the woodland and Greenacres entrance ~ do not park in the entrance to Greenacres.
Walk up the lane, climb the double gates and walk along the track going right before the single wooden gate. Follow the route shown on the maps.
