Description: A small area of deciduous woodland at the rear of houses fronting Copsem Lane in a heavily wooded part of Surrey. Easily accessed from the A3 along a path leading from a parking area just off Sandy Lane. The wood is mature with oak, sycamore and beech. Below are hazel hawthorn and other shrubs.
Boundaries are clear, there's a small path to the south: a bank along the west, a paling fence (some is on the ground) by the north and a fence to the rear of No 54.
Access is from the public carpark in Sandy Lane about 100 metres from where it joins the junction of Copsem and Warren Lanes. Walk up the track towards the close- boarded fence, follow this for about 200 metres until reaching a railway sleeper bridge over a small stream. This is the apex of the wood, on the right will be the far boundary. Walk back until reaching the path which runs down the side of the wood, walk down here to view the woodland. This track is private and doesn not belong to Tergum Wood. A "For Sale" sign will be seen set up on one of the trees.

The wood is situated just off the A3 near Oxshott. The parking is on Sandy Lane just off the A244 which runs from the A3 south towards Oxshott.
